Paintings by Patrick Heron

A retrospective exhibition of the work of Patrick Heron organised by the maclaurin Art Gallery in collaboration with the artist and Waddington's Gallery, London.

The exhibition was presented at the Maclaurin Art Gallery in Ayr between 1st and 24th July, 1995.  It was also shown at the Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie from 8th to 30th April 1995.

The catalogue and introduction to the artist's work was designed and written by Mike Bailey.  The catalogue folder included a collection of post card reproductions of work included in the exhibition.

All works in the exhibition were drawn from the artist's personal collection or lent by family members.  Work owned by the Maclaurin Art Collection were also featured in the exhibition.

The exhibition was curated jointly by Mike Bailey and Patrick Heron.
