Personal Profile
Catherine Czerkawska is a widely published writer of novels, poems, short stories and award winning plays for the stage and for BBC Radio 4. (Some 200 hours of radio drama to date.) She has just come to the end of a Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellowship at the University of the West of Scotland.
Her stage play Wormwood, was produced to critical acclaim at the Traverse Theatre and is now a set text for Higher Drama. She has just completed a novel called The Summer Visitor, and is working – among many other things! - on a new novel called The Sorrel Mare.
Catherine lives in rural Ayrshire with her artist husband Alan Lees. She is a member of the Creative Spaces planning group and has been a management committee member since the autumn of 2008. |
